Abdiya Sheikh Hassan Abdirahaman

Abdiya was honoured for her exemplary role in peace building in Mandera county. She has devoted her career to promoting peacebuilding, conflict management, women empowerment, girl child education, and anti-Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)campaigns within the Somali and pastoral communities. She has been an agent for creating and promoting stability, social cohesion, reconciliation, and peaceful coexistence in the region.
