Abong Emmanuellah Akai

Emmanuella was celebrated in 2023 for championing peace and environmental conservation among communities in Isiolo, Meru, Laikipia, Samburu, Baringo, Garissa, Wajir and Marsabit. She organizes the annual peace ultra marathon in Isiolo, the annual camel caravan walks and advocacy and community open days for countering violence and extremism. She is also a peace monitor in the County.
