Agnes Limo is a Kenyan ICT executive driving inclusive connectivity and gender equity in tech. With more than 13 years at Safaricom PLC, she now serves as Senior Manager, Home Solutions, where she directs strategy, network roll-outs, and customer experience for fixed broadband. Since taking the helm in 2022 she has doubled fibre coverage to reach 550,000 households, introduced prepaid home-internet bundles for low-income estates, and piloted Kenya’s first 5G fixed-wireless service in Eldoret and Kisumu.

Passionate about building the next generation, Limo led Safaricom Women in Technology between 2019 and 2021, mentoring over 2,000 girls in Samburu, Marsabit, Turkana, and other underserved counties through robotics clubs, code camps, and university scholarships. She co-founded the annual “STEM for She” conference, which now hosts 800 participants and 40 corporate partners.

Beyond the company, she chairs the Gender Sector Working Group under the Ministry of Gender’s Social, Economic and Financial Inclusion Task Force. In that role she helped draft Kenya’s 2024 National Digital Skills and Gender Equality Policy, securing budget for community tech hubs and childcare grants for female entrepreneurs.

Limo holds a BSc in Information Systems and an MBA in Strategic Management. Recognised in Business Daily’s Top 40 Under 40 Women (2023) and as a 2024 CIO Africa “Woman in ICT” laureate, she continues to champion broadband that empowers every Kenyan, especially women and girls, to thrive in the digital economy.
