Alvin Otieno, affectionately known as “Buffa,” is a prominent Kenyan rugby sevens player renowned for his formidable presence on the field. Since making his debut for the national team in 2016, he has become a cornerstone of the Kenya Sevens squad, earning accolades such as the Most Valuable Player at the 2021 Safari Sevens . Notably, Otieno represented Kenya at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and achieved his 50th try during the 2023 Singapore Sevens .
