Bagha Hussein Mohammed Afzal Yusuf

Dr. Bagha was honoured for his outstanding contribution towards research and treatment of kidney ailments in the country and beyond. He chaired the task-force that developed the first kidney transplant guidelines that were launched in 2020. As a scholar and a researcher, he is the principle investigator for “I care Me registry and antimicrobial resistant study”, and serves as an international examiner for exams organized by the membership of the royal college of physicians in the UK. He is also the secretary general of the Kenya Renal Association which is the umbrella body for all kidney specialists and nephrologists.
