Becky Abraham
Becky Abraham is a Kenyan technology executive and business-intelligence strategist who has spent more than a decade turning data into competitive advantage for East African enterprises. She joined Pathways International in 2012 as a computer-science intern fresh out of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Within five years she had risen to Regional Director, overseeing data-warehouse deployments and Power BI roll-outs in Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda.
In 2019 she was promoted to Vice-President, Analytics & Technology at Pathways Technologies Ltd., steering a 45-member engineering team that delivers cloud migration, predictive-maintenance, and customer-360 solutions for banks, telcos, and government agencies. Under her leadership the division tripled annual revenue and launched Pathways’ first AI-enabled fraud-detection platform, now used to monitor KES 200 billion in transactions monthly. She also introduced a data-governance framework that cut report-delivery times by 60 percent and improved compliance with Kenya’s Data Protection Act.
Named to Business Daily’s Top 40 Under 40 Women in Business list in 2019, Becky mentors girls through the AkiraChix CodeHive programme and chairs the Kenya ICT Authority’s task force on Advanced Analytics Skills. In 2025 she earned AWS Data Analytics Specialty certification and is spearheading Pathways’ expansion into generative-AI copilots for finance and health-care clients—continuing her mission to place Kenyan talent at the forefront of Africa’s data economy.
