Edgar Kipng’etich

Edgar Kipng’etich Kitur is a Kenyan tech executive who has quickly earned a reputation for turning nascent platforms into revenue-generating market leaders. Appointed Country Manager for Bolt Food Kenya in 2024 at just 32, he steered the service from pilot phase to a city-wide network of more than 2,500 couriers and 1,300 restaurant partners within twelve months, securing flagship deals with Java House, Artcaffe, KFC and Carrefour. His dynamic pricing and dark-kitchen strategies lifted average order volume by 65 percent and pushed Bolt Food into Kenya’s top-three delivery apps in less than a year.
Kitur cut his teeth in Europe, serving as Vice-President of Strategy at London-based SUPPER, where he expanded the premium delivery brand to seven UK cities, and earlier as Chief of Staff and later CEO at Halkin Group, overseeing a £120 million serviced-office portfolio. In 2018 he co-founded Nairobi telematics start-up AiCare, raising seed capital and deploying AI driver-scoring that is now embedded in three regional insurers.
A graduate of the University of Manchester (BA, Economics & Politics) and University College London (MSc, Infrastructure Investment & Finance), Kitur mentors founders through Antler Nairobi and champions policy that opens Kenya’s digital economy to global capital and talent.University College London.
