Guracha Galgalo

Hon. Galgalo, who served as Member of Parliament for Moyale, was remembered for his commitment to serving his constituents and promoting peace in northern Kenya. He was among the leaders who tragically lost their lives in the 2006 Marsabit plane crash while on a peace mission aimed at resolving intercommunal conflicts in the region. His dedication to fostering dialogue and unity among the communities of northern Kenya, as well as his efforts to bring development to his constituency, are honoured as part of his enduring legacy. His sacrifice in the line of duty stands as a symbol of his devotion to peace and national harmony.
