Janet Karimi

Janet Karimi serves as the Head of the Division of Newborn and Child Health at Kenya’s Ministry of Health, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing national strategies to improve the survival and well-being of children across the country. With a strong background in public health and pediatrics, Janet has spent her career advocating for improved health systems and outcomes for Kenya’s youngest and most vulnerable citizens.
