Jesse Muniu

Jesse Muniu is a seasoned energy executive and entrepreneur with over 19 years of experience in the East African oil and gas sector. He currently serves as the CEO and Founder of PetroPal, a company he established in 2023 to innovate in fuel retailing and loyalty solutions. Previously, Muniu was the Managing Director for Lexo Energy, where he expanded the company to 50 service stations across Kenya and Tanzania within five years. He has also held leadership roles at Vivo Energy, Riva Petroleum, National Oil, and Kenol Kobil. Muniu holds a Master’s degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and has completed executive programs at Stellenbosch Business School and Harvard Business School. He is recognized for his strategic vision, operational expertise, and contributions to the energy sector.
