Kahura Mundia
Dr. Kahura Mundia, is a Kenyan oral-maxillofacial surgeon turned barrister who has made advocacy his operating theatre. Deputy national chair of the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union, he speaks for more than 10,000 clinicians, marshaling data on rota gaps and PPE budgets into hard-won collective-bargaining clauses and universal-health-coverage pilots. The string of letters after his name -LLB, BDS, MDS, MBA, captures a career that oscillates smoothly between ward rounds and courtrooms: at Humphrey & Company Advocates he litigates on healthcare negligence and labour rights; at the University of Nairobi he lectures medical law and ethics, shaping a generation of doctors who understand both scalpel and statute.
