Kelly Oluoch

Dr. Kelly Oluoch is the Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), a role he has held since May 2022 after serving as acting CEO from 2020. With a robust academic background, Dr. Oluoch holds two PhDs, two Master’s degrees, and a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy. Under his leadership, KMTC has expanded to 72 campuses nationwide, accommodating over 54,000 students. He has facilitated the inclusion of KMTC students in the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) funding scheme, enabling financial support for many learners. Additionally, Dr. Oluoch has been instrumental in securing international placements for graduates and enhancing the institution’s global recognition. His efforts have earned KMTC the 2023 Transform Education Award for its contribution to Universal Health Coverage and the 2024 Digitally Fit Award for advancing digital transformation in education.​
