Kendi Ntwiga-Nderitu is a Kenyan technology executive whose 17-year career spans six blue-chip companies and two continents. After early sales and channel roles at HP, Oracle, Intel and Check Point, she joined Microsoft in 2020 as Country Manager for Kenya, spearheading cloud-adoption programmes that onboarded 3,000 SMEs and launching the Women in Software Engineering Academy.
In May 2022 she moved to Ireland to become Meta’s Global Head of Misrepresentation and, in October 2023, was elevated to Global Head of Actor Solutions, Integrity Operations. From Dublin she leads multidisciplinary teams that design policy, product and enforcement protocols to curb coordinated inauthentic behaviour, fraud and other “actor-harm” threats across Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. Her remit covers strategy for 3 billion daily users and partnerships with governments and civil-society groups on digital-safety policy.
Kendi is the founder of She-Goes-Tech, a mentorship network that has guided more than 4,500 girls and young women into STEM courses since 2015. She sits on the boards of Mercy Corps and KCB Group, and advises the African Union’s Digital Transformation Programme. Accolades include Business Daily Top 40 Under 40 Women (2019) and the 2024 Kenya ICT Woman of the Year award. Driven by her mantra “lift as you climb,” she continues to champion inclusion and responsible innovation across Africa’s tech ecosystem.
