Kevin Njue is an award-winning Kenyan filmmaker, producer, and the founder of Rocque Pictures, a film production company dedicated to telling authentic African stories through cinema. Recognized as one of Kenya’s most promising creative voices, Njue has built a reputation for producing thought-provoking films that explore social issues, human emotion, and contemporary African identity with honesty and depth.

He gained national and international acclaim for his debut feature film, “18 Hours” (2017), which was inspired by a true story and highlighted the challenges within Kenya’s emergency medical system. The film earned multiple awards, including Best Overall Movie in Africa at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) in 2018—making Njue one of the youngest filmmakers to achieve such recognition.
