Mohamed Hassan Hamadi

Mohamed Hassan Hamadi feted for his outstanding dedication to championing youth mentorship, peacebuilding, and community resilience in Kwale County. Through his leadership in prevention and countering of violent extremism programs, he has played a pivotal role in transforming vulnerable communities by promoting tolerance, inclusion, and mutual understanding. As the Head of Outreach at Jamii Action Centre, Mohamed has creatively used participatory theatre and community dialogue to address sensitive social issues, inspire behavioural change, and foster unity among diverse groups. His innovative approach has provided a safe space for youth to express themselves, resolve conflicts peacefully, and become active agents of positive change within their communities.
