Mueni Saumu

Dr. Saumu is one of the few specialists in the country – a pediatrician, adolescents’ endocrinologist, and diabetologist—quite a mouthful! In simple terms, she treats children with endocrine disorders, a condition that leads to Type 1 diabetes, among other diseases. She is also the secretary of the Paedeiatric and Endocrine Society of Kenya (PESK).
