Njoroge Kibugu
Njoroge Kibugu is a Kenyan amateur golfer who gained national recognition at 18 for his exceptional performance at the 2022 Magical Kenya Open. Competing at Muthaiga Golf Club, he became the youngest Kenyan to make the tournament’s final rounds, shooting a six-under-par 136 and outperforming seasoned professionals. In recognition of his achievement, President Uhuru Kenyatta awarded him a sponsorship to participate in the Soudal Open in Belgium and supported his transition to professional golf. Kibugu has represented Kenya in both junior and senior national teams, securing victories such as the Victoria Cup against Uganda and the Karen Challenge. He is currently pursuing his studies in the United States while continuing his golfing career.
