Orge Godana
Orge Godana is the accomplished Chief Finance Officer of Java House Africa, leading financial strategy and operations across multiple East African markets since her appointment in December 2021. A finance expert grounded in strategic leadership, she previously spearheaded internal audit for KFC East Africa before transitioning into the CFO role—a position she embraced while still in her early thirties.
Orge holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Strathmore University, earned through a full scholarship awarded by East Africa Breweries Limited. Her early career included a transformative stint at Deloitte, where she gained diverse exposure to business finance and honed skills vital to her current responsibilities.
As Java House’s CFO, Orge has fortified financial controls and operational efficiency and played a key role in exploring the company’s readiness for a potential IPO on the Nairobi Securities Exchange. Her leadership also enabled strategic ventures such as the Java House On-the-Go partnership with TotalEnergies, expanding the brand’s accessibility for mobile consumers.
