Patricia Mativo
Patricia Mativo is a rising global advocate for inclusion, youth empowerment, and human rights. She currently serves as the Vice President of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Youth Advisory Panel, where she helps shape global strategies on sexual and reproductive health, youth policy, and gender equality. In this role, Patricia represents the voices of young people, particularly those from marginalized communities, ensuring they are meaningfully involved in decisions that impact their futures.
A 2023 Rhodes Scholarship finalist, Patricia has earned recognition for her academic excellence, leadership, and unwavering commitment to social justice. Her advocacy is deeply personal and intersectional, as she also serves as the Coordinator of the Global Network of Persons with Disabilities. In this capacity, she works to advance disability rights and dismantle barriers to access, representation, and opportunity at national and international levels.
Patricia’s work is rooted in the belief that youth and persons with disabilities should not just be consulted, they should lead.
