Salma Ali Abdallah
Salma Ali Abdallah has been honoured for her exemplary contribution to sports, particularly in the field of Tong-Il Moo-Do, a dynamic form of martial arts that combines techniques from various disciplines. Since 2014, she has proudly served as the team captain of the Ladies Jasiri Team, leading with strength, discipline, and determination. Her leadership on and off the mat has inspired many young women to pursue martial arts and embrace the values of resilience, self-confidence, and teamwork.
Over the years, Salma has achieved remarkable success at both national and international levels. She has won six gold medals in the Women’s Sparring category at the Mombasa Open International Martial Arts Championships, consistently dominating the competition from 2015 to 2023. Her international accolades include a silver medal in both Women’s Sparring and Forms at the 2014 Tong-Il Moo-Do Championships in Thailand, and a bronze medal in Forms at the prestigious 2019 Chungju World Martial Arts Masterships in South Korea.
