Stanley Maina Kamau

Dr. Maina was honoured for his unwavering and selfless dedication to improving the lives of society’s less privileged through a range of innovative philanthropic initiatives across multiple sectors. Since 2007, he has been at the forefront of a nationwide campaign to eradicate jiggers, a debilitating condition affecting vulnerable communities. His efforts have not only restored the dignity and health of thousands but also contributed to the socio-economic empowerment of jigger-prone, underprivileged populations.

Beyond this campaign, Dr. Maina has spearheaded impactful programmes aimed at enhancing the welfare of people living with disabilities, supporting the poor, nurturing talented children, empowering women and youth, and advancing the fight against drug abuse.
