Stanley Maina Kamau

Dr. Maina was honoured for his selfless commitment towards the improvement of the lives of the less privileged in the society through innovative philanthropic initiatives in different sectors. Since 2007, Dr. Maina has spearheaded a nationwide campaign to eradicate jiggers, contributing to socio-economic empowerment of the jigger-prone, less-privileged members of the society. He has also implemented various programmes for the improvement of the welfare of people living with disabilities, the poor, talented children, women, youth, and war against drug abuse. His contributions have seen him earn many national, regional and international accolades including; the Order of the Elder of the Burning Spear (EBS), Leadership and management Global Award, and Ambassador for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
