Tesh Mbaabu and Mesongo Sibuti are Kenyan entrepreneurs who co-founded MarketForce, a leading B2B e-commerce and fintech platform that empowers informal merchants across Africa. In 2022, MarketForce secured a $40 million Series A funding round, the largest of its kind in East and Central Africa. esh Mbaabu, a computer science graduate from the University of Nairobi, has been recognized in Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 and is a Choiseul 100 Africa Laureate. He is also the CEO of Chpter, an AI-powered conversational commerce platform, and a partner at Mesozi, an IT holding company. Mesongo Sibuti, the Chief Technology Officer of MarketForce, specializes in designing and scaling technology-enabled platforms, particularly in B2B services and last-mile delivery. His work focuses on addressing the challenges faced by neighborhood stores, which account for a significant portion of retail transactions in Africa.
