Titus Ngoyoni

Hon. Titus Ngoyoni, a former Member of Parliament for Laisamis Constituency, is fondly remembered for his steadfast commitment to public service, peacebuilding, and community development in Northern Kenya. As a dedicated leader, he worked tirelessly to improve the lives of his constituents through advocacy for infrastructure, education, and access to essential services. He was especially passionate about promoting peaceful coexistence among the diverse communities living in the expansive and often conflict-prone region of Marsabit.

Tragically, Hon. Ngoyoni was among the leaders who lost their lives in the 2006 Marsabit plane crash. The delegation was en route to Marsabit on a critical peace mission aimed at resolving inter-communal conflicts and fostering dialogue among local communities. His participation in this noble initiative demonstrated his deep commitment to national cohesion and unity.

Ngoyoni’s legacy is marked by his selfless sacrifice, vision for a more inclusive and harmonious Kenya, and his efforts to uplift the marginalized northern regions. He is remembered not only as a legislator but also as a peace ambassador whose leadership brought hope and progress. His life and ultimate sacrifice continue to serve as a powerful symbol of dedication to peace, service, and national unity.
