Titus Wambua Masika

Dr. Titus was recognized for his exemplary efforts in transforming agriculture in arid and semi-arid regions. He is the founder of the Christian Impact Mission, a faith-based mission and development agency. His innovative approach to development, focusing on mindset change and an empowered worldview, has revolutionized agriculture, starting in Yatta and Masinga in Machakos county and Kwavonza in Kitui county. The success of his farming methods in these initial regions has led to their replication in many other arid and semi-arid areas across Africa. He introduced water harvesting techniques and communities have learned from him and applied these techniques leading to significant improvements in water, food and nutrition security as well as economic empowerment.
