William Waqo

Bishop Waqo was remembered for his profound spiritual leadership and unwavering dedication to his community.He was a beacon of faith, tirelessly working to promote peace, unity and spiritual growth till the tragic 2006 peace mission plane crash in Marsabit, where he along with other leaders lost his life. He was a gifted, visionary Christian able to rise above tribal allegiances.
