Yash Deb

Yash Deb stands out as a dynamic force in the East African advertising and creative marketing landscape. As the Co-Founder & Creative Partner of The Bar Africa in Nairobi, Kenya, Yash has helped elevate the region’s creative output to world-class levels.

Beginning his career at global agencies such as Hakuhodo, TBWA and Dentsu, Yash crafted major campaigns for brands including Nike, P&G, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Diageo, Standard Chartered and Safaricom. He then established and led the regional presence of Isobar, achieving the “Agency of the Year” accolade within just five years.

One of his most celebrated achievements is the campaign “Lesso Lessons” while at Ogilvy Africa, which became the first Gold Lion award winner from East, West & Central Africa at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, and also garnered a Yellow Pencil from D&AD.

Yash Deb’s impact is two-fold: he has not only set a new benchmark for creative excellence in Africa but has also nurtured local talent and elevated regional storytelling to the global stage. His work continues to inspire agencies and creatives across Africa to think globally while staying rooted in local culture.
