Zaverio Ruru Njuiri

Njuiri also known as General Atomic was recognized for his selfless role in uniting his people to resist the colonial government. He was a gallant freedom fighter and untill his death was the only surviving Mau Mau General from Embu.He was known to have led Embu freedom fighters in Mt.Kenya forest during the height of the state of emergency.
